METRO
METRO TRAIN Washington, DC and Suburban Maryland and Virginia Metro train is an attractive contemporary, clean, convenient system of transportation in and out of the District of Columbia, in-county and cross-county areas of Maryland and Virginia. Warning:: Don't take food into a station or on the train. Metro is well patrolled, accounting for the low crime statistics and clean appearance. Major residential areas of Virginia within walking distance of METRO have a Metro premium. These areas include Balston Staton in North Arlingon,; Pentagon Station in Crystal City area; King Street Station in Alexandria; Franconia/Springfield Station in Fairfax County; all have sparked real estate development because of the proximity of the Metro Station.

VIRGINIA RAIL EXPRESS (VRE)
Virginia Rail Express
Real estate constructed within reasonable driving distance of the Virginia Rail Express is very popular. The east route relieves commuters of the need to travel the "dreaded" Route 95 into Washington, DC or to the Pentagon. The west route offers a quiet commute from the Manassas area and saves commuters the daily "gridlock" on Route 66.
